As an equity-seeking program, your funding priorities directly supports AIRS residencies in underserved schools that lack financial resources.
AIRS is a register charity. All donations will receive a tax deductable receipt.
Your impact
Sustained participation in the AIRS has a profound impact on student well being and success in school and in life. The arts build confidence, creative expression, resilience, agency, and empathy. AIRS program embeds art into the very heart of the school community fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion.
What your donation can do
Every donation no matter how big or small makes a difference.
MONTHLY DONATIONS:
- $50 a month from 10 donors will fund a mentorship for one artist in training.
- $125 a month from 10 donors will fund a full year residency at an undeserved elementary school
SPONSORING AN AIRS PROGRAM IN SCHOOLS
- $4,000 - 8 week pilot residency for a new school
- $6,000 - funds mentorship training for one artist
- $7,500 - funds a half year residency
- $15,000 - funds a year-long residency
AIRS currently has studio residencies in 15 public elementary schools. There are 90 elementary schools in Vancouver School District .
